PBH Room question

Do all the PBH club or deluxe rooms come with 2 queens and a sleeper sofa? We are looking to book a room this summer and want to make sure we can have such a room. With 2 kids, (boy 13, girl 11) who are both quickly approaching 6ft, I need to make sure of the sleeping arrangments before we book.

You going to abandon HRH after all these years? Kids grow up pretty quick. A 6' daughter?
Some of the deluxe's have sofas (more like loveseats) that don't open.

Yes, the kids are growing up fast. Actually, my son is about 5 10, my daughter is just a couple inches behind him, but I'm guessing they'll both be up another inch by July.

Last year we spent a couple days at the PBH pool, we took a last minute trip and the only room available was RPH, which we took, but we didn't really care for that hotel. I was thinking that I read PBH had sofa sleepers, the Universal site says this about the rooms -

"Deluxe rooms are available with a King or two double Queen beds, all rooms with two double queen beds have a pull-out sofa."

Is that not accurate? Club rooms say they are all deluxe, so I was assuming that the sofa thing would be true for them as well.

Every deluxe we have stayed in has had the sleeper. However, they were the rooms that were attached to parlors, so don't know if that makes a difference.

The Universal site does say that all the deluxes have the sleepers, but the Loews site makes no mention of the sleeper sofas.

Some people have reported here that they did not have the sleeper in their deluxe room.

I would just call the hotel and say you need one of the deluxes with the sleeper.

I'll make sure to have them note it on my reservation. Getting the sleeper is our primary reason for switching from HRH, but we really did enjoy the PBH pool and atmosphere when we were there last year.

Just to be forewarned, as MF mentioned, the pull outs are from a small loveseat - actually more like an over-sized arm chair.

It pulls out to a twin bed. My 11 year old slept in it just fine. A 6ft person should be ok, but it might be a bit snug.

The nice thing about the deluxe rooms is that if the pullout is too uncomfortable, there is plenty of room for a rollaway.

I would definately ask for the sleeper if you need one. I was beginning to think the sleeper sofa was a myth- we have stayed in deluxe rooms numerous times and have yet to get a sleeper. I have even taken the cushions off the chairs to search and no luck! There is plenty of room for a roll- away and they are pretty comfortable- the sofa bed is not too comfy. (The worst one is the sofa in the Portofino parlor.)

If they have it on the website they surely should honor it. We tried a couple of times to open one but didn't really need it. I'll keep mid-July in mind. The wife and kids are going to Mexico in June so I'll have to see if they mange to bankrupt me.

Motherfletcher, I think we are looking at the week of the 12th-19th, just trying to decide how many nights to stay at Disney first. I asked the kids and they both said 1 night at Disney was enough.
