I just signed up for the membership so I guess I'm not getting any upgrades yet, but is it worth the price difference from garden view to deluxe room, I have read that the room is alittle bigger and the bathroom is also larger. Do all those rooms have better access to the pools and thing also? I read that I want the west wing is possible because it closer to pool and boat? Are there garden view rooms in the west wing? and last but not least, do they offer upgrades when you get there from garden to deluxe in mid June that would be cheaper then the super saver rate? Thanks

There are three categories of rooms.

Standard Room Garden view. (cheapest -- any wing)
Standard Room Bay view. (a little more expensive -- east or west wing facing bay)
Deluxe room (no view specified - any wing). This can be bay or garden view.

There are many beautiful views. It is really hard to say which is better depending upon which room you are assigned. Mid June is when crowds start to appear so free upgrades may be hard to come by. The major difference between deluxe and stardard is that the room is a little better appointed and there is an additional separate shower stall.

We stayed in a Deluxe room last November and loved it. We actually switched rooms after the first night because everytime the air conditioner turned on/off in our original room, there was a very loud booming noise and my DH is a light sleeper. I'm not and it even woke me up....but that could happen in any room. Both rooms in the west wing. The first Deluxe room was on the ground floor with a patio that was close to the smaller/villa pool. The second room had a better view IMO, as it overlooked the bigger pool with slide. It was on the 3rd floor - no balcony though. I loved the larger bathroom with separate shower and since we have 2 kids, the Deluxe has the option of having a pullout bed, which is a loveseat when not a bed. However, not all Deluxe rooms have this pullout bed so you need to request it. Also, I felt that both rooms were close enough to the pools, boat, restaurants etc. Good Luck!:thumbsup2

Thanks for your input, I have read on a post that they offer upgrades to deluxe rooms for 50 a night when you get there, but on the super saver rate now its more, do they really offer this upon check in?
