PBH Deluxe - Patio or balcony?? Please advise

Hello all. This will be our 3rd trip to the lovely PBH, and we always request room 2663. It's a great deluxe room - nice view of the pool, balcony, high floor, etc. However, it does take a long time to get to the water taxi.

Since this is our first trip to see the WWoHP, I'm considering requesting one of the ground floor patio rooms, like 3157, nearer the boat dock.

Does anyone have any experience with the ground floor rooms, or photos?

I have no answer for you, but we are interested in patio rooms...so I'll be following your thread. Do you know if you can lock the patio door from the outside...

we just got back from PB- room 3157 and LOVED it! perfect location.

i think the west wing ground floor rooms start with 3133 - and numbers get

larger the further down the hall you go. you can't lock the patio from the

outside but the walk down the hall to the door outside is a short walk. also the

ice machine is only a few doors down from 3157. odd numbers face the

bay and even numbers face the beach pool.

Thanks!! Do you happen to have any pictures to post? Was the room a standard deluxe with two queens? Also, did you have a view of the harbor at all, or is it blocked by the plantings?

sorry we did not take pictures this trip!

room 3155 had two queens -room 3157 also had two queens

both rooms had excellent views of the bay - you could sit on the bed

and look right out at the bay - beautiful view - nothing blocking it!
