Crew: Me - Tammy (34) Husband -Dub (35) Our Girls, Jenna 10, and triplets (2) Mary-Clare, Jessica & Emily and we brought our Nanny Michele with us (32)
Our first five days were spent at a VRH which we loved. It was located in Formosa Gardens. I got a great deal for 599 for 6-29 thru July 4. Saturday we arrived at the Vacation home and settled in but did'nt waste anytime getting over to US to activate our passes. On Sunday we took all the girls to CRT for lunch at WDW. They got B-day sundaes and a certificate for having lunch in the Castle on there b-day. I also stopped by city hall and picked up there b-day buttons. Then the rain came. We shuttled them back to the house and returned to do rides with Jenna. On Monday DH and checked out US and city walk. We took in a early supper at Mythos while it was raining out. It was great we walked right up and the food and service was wonderful. On Tuesday Dh again wanted to do Us/IOA so off we went we spent most of that day in IOA and we had supper at Margirtaville, it was way cool and the food was great and the service too. We had cheese burgers and of course a margarita. We waited for over half hour to be seated but they give you a palm pilot type of pager and you can sent emails to your friends with postcards of Margariville.LOL Time past quickly. On Wenesday we went back to US for a bit and took a boat ride over to PBH as I was getting excited to see the place. It was so huge! Words can not describe this place and do it justice people. We walked to the lobby and I tooled around a gift shop a bit. And we left there and headed to the DD area. We decided to eat at the Planet Hollywood. We had the best lasange thing ever and my husband had fajita's it was quick and the service was excellent. I got a drink in a glass cup that was pretty cool gift to bring back with me. On Thursday we made the big move to PBH We had three rooms. I go to check us in while the Bellman helps with our things and it was quick and right up to the counter this was around 9 a.m. One of the three rooms was ready and I was happy. We had all of our things delivered up to that room and split to US with the kids. We let Michele dine over at Emerils and have some quiet time while we took the kids to Fevils play area , but first thing in the park we stopped and ate at Mels Diner which I thought was great and the kids like it my DH was not impressed with his burger. Off we go to see barney! Kids' loved that it! After that we headed back to our room and just hung out and enjoyed the room and order some Pizza from Flippers they delivered staight to the room! BTW we ordered a case of pepsi from them! At .75 each that was a steal! Friday I took Michele and Jenna to IOA we did Rip a Saw Falls, JP River Adventure, and Popeyes Ride, while DH rested with the kids. Then me and DH went to US and did T2, Back to the Future, and MIB. We watched the fireworks at the lagoon in the PS area for AP holders. After that we walked over to Hard Rock Cafe to eat and the line was wrapping around the patio as the lady ushered us over I asked hey, any priorty seating if your staying at PBH she took us straight to a table! I was highly impressed. Saturday DH took Jenna back over to US and did ET, Twister, and T2.
Okay now for PBH, man star service is just that! We left our loosing lottery tickets in the car after a call to SS they were at our room in 5 min! We saved a ton of $$ on discounted food with our Annual Pass and got FOTL at resturants in Citywalk and on the Rides. This can not be beat people! The boats were great. The rooms ours was 2665. (They delivered the keys to our room 2676 when it was ready)It had a balcony view dead center of the beach pool, just like we were told it would. The beds are the most comfy I've ever been on. I actually missed it last night when we arrived home. Our room was king bed, and a lovely comfy love seat with a foot stool was there. I loved the way the two shuttlers open to the bath area you will love the large bath room. I like the way the sound from the t.v pipes into the bathroom. Our other two rooms with queens where wonderful just as promised one had a balcony 2676 and one without 2674 and they connected just as promised. We baby proofed the triplets room by removing all the phones and clocks and shutting off the bathroom and removing the coffee maker and glass from the cabinets and locking the door with the dnd key and that was "there play room" SS brought us some bed rails and a crib for our smallest triplet girl. They delivered milk and cookies to all THREE of my rooms! I did'nt even have my card with me as they had not mailed it yet! The balconies were not huge but they were nice enough and big enough. The room 2676 dead center over looked the Villa Pool it had Cabana's and such there. The beach pool was great my Jenna loved it and the triplets loved the baby pool. If anyone has any questions I'd be glad to help someone else because without this board our trip would not have been near as nice. I can't wait to go back and stay at PBH and I'm gonna try my best to getting my DH all the bedding to make it like that at home. I'm sure it''ll be a little pricey but he begged me to grab a pillow for him.LOL I just could'nt but I did tear the tags off the pillow so I can find him some.LOL BTW this was our first trip to US/IOA and I can't wait to go back!!!! The Pools we saw also had pool hop service.
I must say I did'nt tell you this before because this was the biggest disappointment of our trip and that was our lunch to Emerils on Wenesday. I hated it the food was yuck!!!! The serivice is wonderful but the food was gross! And highly over priced and they even charge your drink refills, Cokes! I wanted whine anymore but i was so looking forward to this meal and it well it sucked to be honest with you. That's just MO. I know everyone loves it but I can't say we did. We want be back for Emerils.
