Paypal shipping labels, BE CAREFUL!!!

I was using paypal's new shipping labels tonight and was zipping along when I discovered too late that one of my buyers included two lines of street address. I couldn't back up to modify it because I was already at the printing page when I discovered it and of course the label printed with the address running over the label perimeters and not readable. I thought it would be simple enough to just void that label and begin over; however, I received an email from paypal stating that IF the usps agreed to refund my shipping costs it would take up to 21 days for my paypal acct to be refunded. Be very careful so this doesn't happen to you. Three weeks? Jeeesh!

You know you can go to the USPS.com website and print Priority Mail labels there with free delivery confirmation. You even get a preview of the label before you print it. I always print them without postage and just pay at the post office when I take the packages.

Good luck getting a refund. I had a $4 mistake come from when I was a stamps.com customer back in December.

I still havent seen the $4 refund.

Well, luckily this was a CD and I was only sending media mail so just $1.55 otherwise I would use the usps priority labels. I try to save my buyers money and it backfires from time to time. Oh well.

I print my labels from paypal for the convience of not having to wait in line at the post office. Just drop them at the counter and go

Usually it asks if it printed okay...I've actually had printer jams etc...as long as I waited to select "no" it just printed again with no problems. The prompt does come up right away but you just have to wait to answer "yes or no." That should help you avoid any problems
