PayPal in the parks?

I thought I've read that they've started accepting Apple Pay (and maybe Google Wallet), but that is the only ones I've heard about. I didn't ask in October, but I didn't see any signs indicating that PayPal was an accepted form of payment (credit cards, cash, Disney gift cards, and magic bands were the ones that I recall seeing most commonly).

Are you asking about the PayPal Extras credit card from MasterCard? That should be fine throughout WDW because it's a MasterCard.

Just a quick correction to the PP - Apple Pay is actually not a form of online payment. It is a form of NFC payment which means that you can use it at locations that accept NFC (or "contactless") payments. Whereas PayPal charges your bank after you make a purchase, Apple Pay is the same as using your physical credit or debit card (meaning that those accounts get charged directly).

To my knowledge, Disney doesn't accept PayPal anywhere that I've seen. I guess the only place might be Starbucks, if you have a rewards card tied to your PayPal account.

I have a Paypal Debit card. It was free and the money comes right out of my account. This has been so handy while on vacation. Especially if you are waiting for someone to send you money, or an ebay payment. :goodvibes

I believe it is a Mastercard. I didn't have an option on cards they just sent me whatever they had. Its been the only card I use in the parks for the last 3 years. I bring gift cards and if I run out I use the Paypal debit card. I haven't even brought my real Debit card on vacation since Ive had this thing. :thumbsup2

Also to note on the paypal card. I do have my bank account connected to my paypal account but the card will only take money out of my Paypal account. If I run low on funds the card wont work. It helps me keep track of how much I spend. I can instantly move money from my bank into my paypal so it isn't an issue. I am sure you can change that if you want but this works better for me.
