Paypal help needed

Apparently the payment I made via paypal went to an inactive email address & the seller can't claim the funds. Is there a way I can cancel the payment to the inactive address prior to sending payment to the correct address?

Huh- maybe you bought from me, cause I am having this problem! (disnychck ID BTW- cause one of the things was a MGM book!!! wouldn't that be a coincidence!) I accidentally listed my listing with the wrong email, and I contacted paypal, and this is what they said for the buyer to do:



Thank you for contacting PayPal.

To cancel an 'Unclaimed' transaction, follow these steps:

1. Log in to your account at https://www.paypal.com/ by entering your
email address and password in the Member Log In box.

2. Click the 'History' subtab.

3. Select 'Payments Sent' from the drop down menu.

4. Select the dates by manipulating the date box and click 'Search'.

5. Click 'Cancel' in the Action column of the unclaimed transaction.
*(You may only cancel a payment that has a status of 'Unclaimed' and has a
'Cancel' button in the action column).

6. Click 'Cancel Payment'.

7. The funds from the canceled payment will be returned to the sender's
credit card or PayPal account balance, based on the funding source used for
the payment. A credit to a credit card may take up to 30 days to process,
depending on the card issuer.
