PayPal Fee Question

Hi everyone,
I have a Premium Paypal account so that I can accept credit card payments. I recently transferred some money into my bank account, which I thought (according to the screen) was free, but they charged me $1.39 for the transfer. The credit showed up in my account and then the account was debited for $1.39. Does anyone know if this is correct?

Hi Tina --

I've been using ebay (and paypal) for a number of years now, but still use a Personal Account. This way I don't have to worry about ANY fees from credit cards transactions, etc from paypal (only the normal ebay fees). If you have a Premium account with paypal they do NOT charge a fee for making electronic transfers from a paypal account to your bank account. However your bank may charge you a fee for an electronic bank transfer. Not sure exatcly what account was debited/credited by your description, but if it did cost you $1.39 I would contact paypal @ 402-935-2057. Hope this helps.

I have both a business and a personal account with Paypal, and i have never been charged for a transfer in either account to my bank. Something is amiss.

Premier account holder - never been charged for a transfer either way, in or out of PayPal or my checking account.
