I just got an email from "paypal" (not) informing me that a new email address had been added to my paypal account. And if I had not authorized it to let them know by going to the link. Don't fall for it. I sent the email to paypal and they replied that indeed it was not from them. So beware. :earseek:

OMG I got the same thing! And also another one "confirming" that I spent $264 on a video game from my PayPal account. It said I should click on the link if this was unauthorized. I first checked my paypal acct and saw everything was in order, so I deleted the fraud email. It scared me, though. What would have happened if I clicked on the link, a virus maybe? I'm so nervous about these things.

I generally suggest not clicking the blue links in email messages but instead manually going to the web site (paypal, wdwinfo, ebay, etc.) at your convenience. It is too easy to land in a web page that spoofs an official home page (paypal, etc.) and captures your password. Also you can get computer viruses by clicking links in email mesages.
