I'm getting ready for my trip to Universal next week! Woohoo! I just went in and added my credit card to the app. Can I use the app to pay? My room key? How does this work exactly? Do I need to take my credit card with me into the parks. I'm used to magic bands at Disney.

Yes there is a wallet button on the app, you can just pull it up and pay almost everywhere I think. I often did that instead of dragging out my wallet. Makes it easy! You can do charging to your room if you want, not on the app, but that requires you to put down a dep on a credit/debit card for each day etc. We just used the app/wallet pay with whatever card we wanted.
