Thank you, fingers crossed they give the relevant information!! We’re you told not to use ACH transfer also?

I asked about the ACH number but mason didn’t have it so I called their bank to get it. Mason then told me that in order for them to accept an ACH transfer I needed to send them the confirmation number.

once the transfer have been executed you can ask Revolut staff for a confirmation letter which you can send to the closing company.

Ah ok we have been told they don’t accept ACH at all. I need to speak to revolut and confirm type of transaction.

we've found TransferWise to be effective

my partner's main contract is UK based and paid in GBP, we live in Canada (previously US, Eurozone, and UK), and have roots in the US; we've used it quite frequently and never had any issues

they do have a "borderless account" feature to hold currencies and includes a multi-currency debit card (like Revolut) but we just use TransferWise for transfers to our existing bank accounts so I can't say how well the TransferWise borderless account and debit card work; it seems if you're interested in playing the exchange rates, this will let you do that

they're setup in most countries to use domestic transfer mechanisms (GBP Faster Payments, BACS or CHAPS; EUR SWIFT; US ACH, domestic wire) so it's seamless to the receiver

transfer speed is always fast (few hours GBP to CAD, 1-2 days GBP to USD) and the rate is nearly mid-market (GBP to USD * USD to GBP ≈ 1); below are some transfers if you want to check for yourself

I also like that they're super clear about fees and don't hide any up-charge in the foreign exchange rate

you can use this link to give me credit for the recommendation (you get a fee-free 500 GBP transfer, I get 75 USD for every three people) or just go straight to their website (I don't need the referral but some people value the free transfer)
TransferWise direct https://transferwise.com/

just another option to consider!

Thank you. The issue I have is they don’t accept ACH payment. Needs to be a wire apparently

I have TransferWise too. Only issue is that they take a larger cut when doing the currency exchange and when you wire money one way or another it costs money.

the borderless account is however great.

Hi all, sorry to hijack the thread. I'm in the UK and trying to send my funds but I'm unsure how to do it. Like a previous poster said, the title company can only receive the funds as a wire transfer & not ACH. Was going to use Transferwise but they have said they only send USD as ACH.

Any advice? Thanks in advance!

I ended up finding travelex which isn’t the best rate but only one I can find that is an actual wire.

I am in the UK and with HSBC. You can go into the app, set up an international payment and it leaves in US$
