Payment for DVC Rentals

I have Disney Reward Dollars to use to pay off my Disney hotel. If i were to rent points from a DVC owner, would I be able to use the disney rewards to pay for the reservation rental?

so as an individual DVC owner, I would not have any use for your Disney reward points. (I'm not giving you a free dining plan, either... )

OK, I ask because I have rented points before and paid with Disney dollars for the dining plan but I guess that's because that's paid to Disney huh? Thanks for the info!

Use your reward dollars for your food and room charges.

I have heard of renters paying for the dining plan with gift cards and such by passing the info to the DVC owner who would pay Disney for the dining plan. (you are currently not allowed to add the dining plan at check-in, so you'd have to find a way to pay for it beforehand through the DVC owner - rules might have been different in the past.)

Your DP must be purchased and fully paid for at least 48 hours before check-in day. As PP stated, you will have to work through whomever you are renting from to pay for the DP ahead of time.
