Payless Car Rental

I found a rate too good to resist through the SWAir site for Payless. I searched them here and only found old comments.
Anyone used Payless recently? How was your experience?

They were terrible. Nickel and dime'd you to death, charged for extra for everything, 2nd driver...added surcharges, yucky, dirty off site location, inspected the car upon return trying to drum up additional charges. In this case you get what you pay for.

What are the dates of your rental, car size, and the total price?

My comments might be outdated since it's been 2 years since we have used them but we did use them twice and had very good service each time and nice vehicles also. Each time they did try to upgrade us which is a scam that many rental companies do but we just refused and it was no problem. Their shuttle service was quick but we have since rented right at MCO and it was definitely more convenient. I would rent from Payless again if I was saving quite a bit of money but otherwise it is easier for us to grab the car at the airport.
