paying with DDP and two reservations??

This may be a really dumb question. We have been to Disney many many times but neve with a larger group. How does paying for your table service meal work with two different reservation groups at dinner, both on the dinning plan? Do you tell the server before who is in each group then one person from each group tap their band to pay? Seems simple but want to be sure. Thanks!!!

Correct,,,just let the server know who in each party is in the same room. No different then if some were on DP and some paying cash.

And don't forget, they will automatically add in a tip of 18% (not covered by the DP) if your group is 6 or more. Even if spilt up into 2 parties. At least that has been my experience dining with larger parties and splitting the check. I actually prefer it, that way I don't have to figure it out!

Thank you!! oh yes that added %18, we do add some for great service but at a buffet we stick with the %18.
