Paying with Costco Visa

I didn't book my cruise through Costco but I just got the Costco Visa card. It says that you can get cash back on eligible travel purchases. Dos anyone have any experience paying for their cruise with their Costco visa? Thanks in Advance!

We book all of our Disney cruises with Costco and pay with our Costco Visa. The advantage is you get a card to use at Costco after you return. The card value depends on the length/cost of your cruise. It blows away the onboard credit some travel agents offer (assuming you shop at Costco). As far as cash back, you get whatever the percentage back is for travel.

Besides the cash card that you earn from booking through Costco, Executive members earn 2% back + 3% back for using the Costco Visa.

Costco Travel offers a cash back card on DCL cruises, whether you book originally with them or transfer the cruise within 30 days (and some other cruise lines, like NCL). The amount is around 7-8% of the cruise cost before tax. It's a card you can use at Costco (though some report being able to take it to customer service at Costco and trade it for actual cash).

Executive members get a further 2% back by using Costco Travel to book a cruise.

The Costco Visa then offers a further 3% back for travel purchases including (but not limited to) Costco Travel.
But sadly - Canadians can't get this Visa.

Op, if you didn’t book your cruise with Costco, or transfer your cruise to Costco, you will not get the Costco reward card. If you pay with your Costco visa, you will get 3% back in rewards on your anniversary date.

I'll answer your question. I pay for my cruise and other travel purchases with my Costco Visa card. For travel purchases (other than gas) you get 3% cash back. For gas you get 4%
