Paying tip with gift card

If I have $100 worth of gift cards for the Cheesecake Factory and my bill comes to $80 can I use the rest of the gift card to pay the tip?

All the major chains you can with no issue. I've used a gift card at cheese cake factory and had no issue leaving a tip with it.

I always ask as I hand them the gift card to pay, but in most cases, yes you can! I've never eaten at The Cheesecake Factory, just fyi.

Yes you can! I've eaten at the Cheesecake Factory with a $100 gift card and put the tip on there as well.
