paying out of pocket with dining plan

We are on the dining plan and have ressie's every night. If we have a sit down breakfast, where we pay out of pocket, will it affect the dining plan meals? (using the card)

It won't affect the credits at all. If they ask if you're on the ddp for the meal you're paying for, just say no. If you're charging the cost to your room, just make sure they charge it and not use any of your credits.
