Our trip is booked through AAA, and the final payment is due at the end of June.

We'll be putting the balance on our Disney Visa card (hey, there's no reason NOT to get all those points, right??) Then when my husband's bonus comes in September, we'll pay it off.

Will the trip automatically be interest free for 6 months, or do I need to let the AAA agent know it's a Disney Visa? Or do I let Visa know?

You could ask your AAA TA if you want peace of mind, but when I've booked through Disney, the 6 months interest free has always been automatic. It will show up on your statement in its own section with the amount that was charged, along with an expiration date. I have never mentioned to Disney that I was using the Disney Visa or called Chase to notify them....they know by the charge that it's a Disney vacation and the 6 months, 0% interest should kick in automatically ::yes::.
