Hey, All! Just had to share that my little ones received their Mickey postcards from Akwafunk today. My oldest (5yo) was so excited!! They are on the refrigerator.

I was wondering how this works, I think the idea is great, but I am just not sure about it. I have three children who would love this, and if someone was willing I would trade when we go in June.

Hi! You try to find someone who is going to Disney a week or two(or more) before you. They send your children a postcard saying "Can't wait for you to come see me next week!", etc. Then you allow someone to contact you so that you can send them a postcard while your family is there in June.

This is such a great idea!!!!
I'm going in September so if anyone is going to be there this summer I would love it if you could send a postcard to my nephew.
We'll be at Disney for a week and a half so I should have enough time to send postcards for anyone that wants them.

Just two question...
1~What is a PM? (sorry not up on the lino)
2~Where is Disney do you do this?

My DD and I are going for Spring Break, April 1st through the 7th.

The first 3 people that send me a PM we will send their child a post card from their favorite character.

Please send name of child, address and any special message and a couple of different characters, in case we can't find their first choice.

SOOOOOOO glad to find this thread! My boys got a postcard announcing our Disney Cruise (and re-booked cruise ) last year. Pure Magic Then the three of us spent a good twenty minutes in the post office at Castaway Cay sending out a little 'magic' to other folks. Fun!
We are booked for another cruise, but considering the parks instead. If we do...I will be asking for someone to 'pay it forward'...

I hope this has not been said already, (sorry i couldnt read ALL the post's) and I do think this is such a nice thing for you all to be doing. I just wanted to make a sugestion, maybe those of you who do not have kids old enouph to know post marks could just buy your own cards and put them in the mail box for your child to "find".

Just an idea because I know the cards could get expensive also it would be good for those who are leaving sooner then there child could have one sent thru the mail.

Hi Everyone!! It's my turn to ask for a Fairy Godmailer. I'm not sure if this is the right thread to post this, I posted it on another thread too, just to see if anyone is leaving soon. My 2 DS's (5 & 2) will be at WDW for their first trip on 4/22. Is anyone going soon that can send a postcard to my little guys?? How are you talking about, who did you want to send your DS and DD a post card? I will be at WDW June 6-14th I wiould be happy to send your children post cards if you are going after those dates. PM me if you want me to send to you.

My DD17 and I had some special pixie dust spread on us by some wonderful DIS members. I would like to spread the magic. So we will send postcards to the first three pm's that I receive.
