I've got the Premier Visa card and I was wondering if payments into a Disney Vacation Account get the 2% bonus or just 1%. Does anyone know? I've got the cash sitting in a savings account for our next Disneyland trip but I'd like to get some extra reward dollars out of it if I can.

Not sure but I did get 2% on DVC purchase

I don't think so. I know I've seen that question asked/answered but can't find it at the moment. I'll keep looking...

However, I've read of a round-about way to earn extra rewards: use your Disney Visa to purchase gift cards from The Disney Store (or the grocery store which also earns 2%), using the funds you have in savings to pay the Visa bill; then add those gift cards to your DVA account.

Enjoy your vacation!

I've been paying straight into the DVA account with my Disney Visa and that's been getting me the 2% rewards. I was just curious if those purchases also got the 6 months 0% interest. Looking at my most recent statement it doesn't look like it. I've got a DCL deposit that's showing the zero interest but that's the only thing - I put $1000 into DVA to pay for some DL tickets just to see what it would do.

Good to know about the 2% for payments into DVA. Thanks for reporting that.

As for the no-interest offer -- that is limited to "select vacation packages" with "package" including DCL cruises, Adventures by Disney, Aulani packages, DLR packages and WDW packages. Room-only does not qualify, nor do separate ticket purchases, and on-site purchases while on vacation don't qualify either. I'm not surprised the DVA doesn't qualify as 0%.

Think it is 2%...

We've been paying into a dva for three months using the Disney visa and our dva payments do qualify for the 2% back. They do not give you the six months interest free, though. Fwiw, the customer service folks at chase had no idea what a dva was - they kept reading me rules for dvc - and finally told me the dva did not qualify for 2%, which was wrong. After my call with Chase it was pretty clear they were clueless so I charged ten dollars to the Disney visa as a test, and sure enough it got the two percent, as have all of my later larger payments.
