Paying for Pop/Soda

IF you are not a big pop drinker don't buy the all you can drink mugs when boarding. Pop is free at all the sit down meals and at the other spots around the boat there is juice and iced tea.

We got our pop free with AAA but used it rarely because we aren't huge pop drinkers. I would have been upset if I had paid $20+ per person for the 2 or 3 pops we had when not in restaurants.

That's a good point. I am a huge soda drinker and settled for Iced Tea around the ship since soda was no charge in the dining room. I bought the refillable mug (stupid me...I bought it twice) and never seemed to have it with me it was always in the room so defeats the purpose.

I just need some clarifying here -- if your purchase the $20 soda sticker (on the 4 day) do you automatically get a new soda mug or do you have to purchase a soda mug on top of the $20 sticker? Here's my REAL question: I have a mug from last year -- if I buy the $20 sticker, can I use the old mug??? I really don't mind the $20 bucks as I treat myself to pop on vacation (and I make up for all the rest of the year I don't have pop so it's worth it to me )I just don't need to add to my collection of Disney' mugs (one from each hotel, etc) In the past, this has been a "flaming" thread and I don't want that to happen Just asking

If you don't want the mug, it is $20 and you get a sticker on your KTTW card. If you purchase the mug also I think it is a $24 charge to your KTTW card.

Even if you forget the mug.........you just show them your KTTW card (with sticker) and you can get coke refills anywhere.

The kids decided to skip the soda card, they got soda every night with dinner. The beverage station next to the Mickey pool has Lemonade, milk coffee, tea, hot chocolate, and ice water for free from about 7 am to 11 pm, and the kids enjoyed that more and I saved the $$.
