Paying for Limo from SNA - Pay All Upfront?

Hi, I am looking into arranging for a limo to/from SNA, and the person wants full payment before hand. Is that normal? Never done a limo-got the name from these boards, I am sure he's ok, BUT all upfront? Just curious if this is normal? Thanks in Advance for your help!

Although I haven't rented a limo from SNA I would imagine they would want payment upfront. I looked at service, and I believe I saw the prices at about $70 which didn't seem too pricey to secure transportation. I ended reserving supershuttle with a discount code and paying upfront for our Sept 1 visit.

He wants both ways paid for upfront though, not just one way.

The ones I have used were all paid in advance. I believe it is policy on the east or west coasts....

When I booked a towncar from SNA last year theyonly required pre-payment of pickup. I payed for return to the airport when we went.
