paying for food

This is our first trip to WDW and also our first family vacation. So bare with me if I ask a stupid question. We are staying at Pop Century. Can we charge food purchases back to our room, do most places accept credit cards (food court, counter service, and fast food places on site) or do we need to carry around mostly cast for food. Thanks for helping me out.

the only cash we spent was on a glow necklace from one of the 'street vendors' at the parade. EVERYTHING else we bought we charged to the room, including mcdonalds. It was wonderful.

Yes, you can charge food purchases back to your room. My wife and I do it all the time and it is very conveient.

The restaurants take all major credit cards. Yes the food court, counter service, and fast food places on site take credit cards. I know that the McDonalds in DTD takes credit cards.
