Paying for excursions or activities before cruise.

I have booked an excursion on Nassau day plus added the photo package. But my balance still says zero due. I would like to prepay with my Disney Visa now, to earn the Disney dollars now, so I have them for use on our trip. Would I be able to call and prepay now? I don't see anywhere to do it in the app.

The only thing you can do is purchase an on-board credit. You can do that by phone or on the Gifts & Amenities website.

As erionm said, you can pay in advance by purchasing an on-board credit. I am not sure whether that will get you the “6 months interest free” from Disney Visa, but it will get you Disney rewards dollars.

We always pre-pay the onboard credit and have always gotten it 6-month interest free. Charges applied to the card from the ship after sailing do not get the 6-months.

DCL doesn't charge for excursions until the day of or close to so, as others have stated, onboard credit is best if you want it paid for before the cruise. If, for any reason, you are unable to do that excursion (e.g., ship doesn't dock or docks too late or weather causes cancellation), you won't be charged or your account will be rebated. I'm assuming that this would then be credited back to your card at the end of the cruise.
