Paying for DVC

Can I pay for my whole contract (BLT add on) via credit card? Or, just my down payment?

I just bought at BLT and used amex for the deposit and balance.

Did see a rumour they were gong to stop it.

Who knows.

When we bought in 08 we could have used our Disney CC for part or the entire purchase if buying through Disney. We went another route and bought a resale. Certified funds could only be used with the resale that we bought.

There was the rumor that they were going to stop allowing credit cards to be used then on the flip side there is a rumor that a new promotion with the Disney Chase Visa was going to start at the end of March. I doubt they will stop allowing people to use credit cards, it would mean people would have more time to get cold feet if they had to use cash, lets face it most people don't bring that much cash to Disney to buy DVC they would have to get people to send deposits when they get home. Disney would lose sales if they stopped allowing the use of credit cards. At least in my opinion

I doubt they would stop accepting credit cards, especially with sales being down right now.

We payed all of contracts using our credit card. It was a great way to take advantage of earning additional reward points.

Thank you. I heard back from my guide and quality assurance just a few minutes ago. I was able to pay the entire contract with my Disney CC and cancel my use of Disney's financing.

I am so excited as now I get Disney reward dollars on the entire purchase amount
