Depend who you book with?. I booked with hotel.com and had to pay one night deposit and then the balance on arrival. :sunny:

Sorry should have said!

I booked direct through Disney - The USA part not the UK part. When i booked direct with the UK one in May i had to pay it all up front? But ive just paid a 1 nights deposit this time and i want to pay a bit more off.

Sorry, but why would you want to? Why not open a hight interest web saver account and regularly put your money in there? It will be there when you need to pay, and will earn you some interest in the meantime. I can't think why anyone would pay early, unless you're given a discount for doing so.

Because i want to get it paid for and out of the way. I have so many other things to pay for for my wedding that its worth the £30 or so i will be loosing on interest over 4 months to have the hotel fully sorted.

I already get a 30% discount through Disney Weddings and another smaller discount if i pay by 30 days out, but all i can see about paying early is by a Cheque in US Dollars but with a full postal address on so i was really wondering how/if i could pay early on my card or something.

Everytime I have booked direct with WDW I have paid 1 night as a deposit and the rest on arrival.
I am not sure if you can pay extra, may be an idea to give them a call.

I know exactly what you mean Laura :sunny:

Although it makes perfect sense to put the cash in an interest earning account it makes me feel better to know I've paid it all off in advance...

Is there any difference in price whether you book with .co.uk or .com do you know?

Lynn

I was also going to mention the dollar rate. e.g. we didn't need to pay our car hire until 2 weeks ago but paid a couple of months ago as the rate was to good to miss out.

we have booked cash nights through disney but you pay on arrival. why don't you email them

I paid my deposits on mine today, I booked direct with wdw usa.

they said I can oay bits off when I like, but not to pay it all up in case theres discounts when annual pass rates come out (they dont refund the money just put it on the room key lol if you have paid in full by the time the rates come out)

oh and I paid by visa debit as I gain money back on it lol

Does this still apply? I was going to go ahead and book with Disney UK for next year. I want to book a package with the 14 day ultimate ticket, so I can't really book it with Disney US. However I don't want to have to pay for it all now when I won't be going for another 16 months!!
