Paying for Dining Plan with DVC

I'm giving a 5 night stay at SSR to my sister as a gift. I'm also booking the dining plan for her as well, but while booking, I learned that it must be paid for at check in. Does anyone know if the resort will accept Disney gift cards for payment? My guess would be yes, but I'm curious to know if anyone knows for sure. I'd like to make sure everything is covered for her stay without problems as she does not have a credit card.

I used a gift card to help pay for my DDP last year and plan to do it again this year..we didn't have any probs!
