Paying for DDP with VISA points

Did I read somewhere that I cannot pay for the DDP with my Disney VISA points?

Unless something has changed since October, you *can* pay for the DDP with your Disney Visa Reward points. We stayed at BCV, so we didn't have a package. At check-in, I handed over my Rewards Card. The CM scanned it for the DDP amount & gave me a receipt with my point balance. No problems.

You can pay for DDP with your reward popints. i asked this a few weeks ago and the CM said that we could.

We always pay for the DDP with our Visa points. We just did this again in Jan.
