Paying for Annual Pass

Hi all, I'm looking into buying an AP this week and I have a question.

Can you put more money down than the required $112 in order to lower your monthly payment? I'll probably buy one regardless but I have a little extra money at the moment.

I have not looked specifically at WDW tickets, but almost any time you spread out payments- you'll end up paying quite a bit extra. The less you finance, the better.

This is untrue for the annual pass monthly payment plan. There's no interest, finance charges, or assorted fees involved.

Fair objection, which is why no one is required to use the payment plan. But, the cost is the same either way, which is the point I was addressing.
