Paying for a room Upgrade on site

We are going to OKW on 22nd October for two weeks. During this time DH & I will be celebrating our 13th Wedding Anniversary.

After all the madness we have had (what with me being made redundant) we would really like to celebrate. However, with money rather tight as my new job start date has been delayed by a month and I do not know how much temp work I can secure in the interim we cannot upgrade just yet.

Has anyone else been able to pay for room upgrades on site - or is it worth contacting OKW to ask how much they charge?? We are currently booked in a studio - but what with the anniversary might be nice for me and DH to have our own room without the kids in the bed next to us....if you know what I mean

Any thoughts?

Have you booked through disney? If you have it will be cheaper to do here as I enquired about this and they will offer you rack room rate in US which is a lot higher than here because we have had the discounted room already.It was an extra £210 for 5 nights through disney UK for a one bedroom. You could up grade half your stay when you get there but I dont think disney will do just half of it.. hope this helps.Not really an expert hopefully someone else can advise.
