Paying Cash for a night or use Points?

Trying to decide if I want to pay cash for a night @ $382.50 or use 66 points instead. Any thoughts either way on this.

Wow! If you don't mind me asking, where do you want to stay for 1 night that it will cost 66 points?

To rent 66 points at $10 per point would be $660.

No brainer. Pay cash.

But $382.50 is a lot more than $0.00. I'd use the points if you don't already have plans for them.

Save your points for WDW, where they will stretch further. Or rent them, and use the $$ for the WDW trip or other stuff. Either way you will come out ahead.

If you want to stretch your points, I would pay cash. That's only $5.79 a point, close to HH dues per point. I used to do that when I was first a member and stayed in an OKW 1 bedroom and wanted to arrive on Saturday, weekend points were high at that time. It allowed me to save points to use at BWV on the next trip.

That's quite a deal. In July a 2br at SSR runs $628 and 726 for 1 night.

If you need your points for a later date........

I still say pay cash.

Can you use the points and then borrow points for the next trip? I'd hate to spend cash when I have points.
