Paying Cash Equivalent for Cruise

We don't have enough points to 3 day cruise and 5 days at BLT, so want to pay cash equivalent for 4th and 5th adult on cruise. Does anyone know when the cash equivalent is due. At booking or later.

DH and I used points for both of us on our 2010 cruise, but we paid cash for DD. We had to pay for her at the time we booked the cruise through Member Services. We paid using our Disney Visa card, b/c you have 6 months/no financing to pay off Disney vacations with the Disney Visa card. HOWEVER, BEWARE......because this reservation is made through Member Services, it shows up on the bill as "Time Share Something-or-Another" and does not qualify for the promotional 6-months/no financing. I made about a million phone calls between Member Services and the Disney Visa folks, but to no avail. UGH!!!

I believe that is correct. If you book with points and pay some with cash the total is due at the time of the booking because it goes through member services and you must pay total due at that time. We booked a cruise and used our points for us and did kids with cash and it was due at the time we booked.
