Okay I have tried to find this information both on here and Disney website and I can't find it at all. We are looking at a trip in Sept. First questions is how much before do we need to pay for our trip? I can't remember last time as I went through a travel agent (horrible!!) and this time I am going through Disney. The second question is how much in advance will they need to cancel a reservation. My boyfriend and I are wanting to take my mom (abd possible sister) with us and my mom is planning on running in county elections. I need to get our ADRs before we know if she will be giving the nomination. So I have to book for 4 and then cancel because she won't be able to take the time. So at what point can I still get the deposit back? And the third (and hopefully last!) question is can you have two people in one room with two different tickets/dining. If my sister is able to go then she will only be able to go for 5-6 days and my mom will be able to go for 10. So can I have both of them in the same room with two different tickets, dining ect?
Thanks so much....this is starting to get :scared1:!!!!

Let me try to follow all of this!

How much your trip will cost depends on your choices of hotel, dining, and tickets. You have to input all of that on the res section on the WDW site.

You must put a $200 deposit down @ the time of booking to reserve the room.

Any cancellations must be made prior to 45 days out, otherwise you'll incur fees.

Everyone must be on the same package if they are in the same room.

Tickets you can get around that by purchasing minimum days, and then each person can upgrade to what more they need once you get there.

Dining, I don't think you can get around that one. Everyone must have the same plan.

ADRs you can book for 4 and whoever makes it, makes it. If they are ADRs which require a deposit, you need to cancel the no-show people to get your dep back.

I can help with some. If you book a pacakge through Disney, and want the Dining plan, you have to have the same program for everyone on the reservation.

So, if your mom is going for 10 but your sister for only 5 or 6 and they are in the same room, they will have to each get the plan for all 10 days or, book two separate reservations. Then your mom would have to switch rooms.

Tickets for the package need to be the same as well. However, you can book just a 1 day ticket and then upgrade them at check in to fit the needs (ie: your Mom's to a 10 day and your sisters to only a 6).

The package has to be paid for 45 days in advance of your trip. Up until that point, you can cancel and will get your depost back, less the cost of travel insurance (if you buy that).

Once you are within 45 days, I believe there is a cancellation fee but this is the piece I am not positive on.

Thank you both! I understand how you feel......I am already wanting to go AHHH!!!! Buts its Disney and its worth it!! <sigh> Thanks for answering my questions!
