Hey all - I think I remember reading a thread or two that you can pay your annual dues with the Disney visa rewards? Has anyone done this? I just got my dues bill and have alot of rewards points that I could put tword mine if this is possible. If you have done this, how do I go about it?

TIA!

You can pay annual dues via credit card by calling Member Services--Accounting and providing the credit card information. You must pay the full annual assessment. Monthly payments are only available using pre-authorized bank deduction.

Just call MS and tell them you want to pay with Disney Visa Rewards and they will take care of it. You need to have the reward dollars transferred to the Reward Card to finalize the transaction so if you don't currently have a Reward Card, go on the Disney Visa website and order one a.s.a.p. (you can transfer the $$$ at the same time).

I did it a few weeks ago. I just ordered the card and then called - but it's not the same MS as ressies - it's option 1 - Member Accounting.

Tell them you want to pay dues with a Disney Visa Rewards Card and tell them the number and how much. I used mine to pay off the rest of this year, so I had no Dec deduction and then it paid down 2005 a little also.

Okay - so I order the rewards card and then call MS accounting to make the arrangements. So then if I order the card do I have to wait until I get it in the mail? or do they just know that since you've got the card on the way they can access it? I haven't even ever yet redeemed any of the rewards so this is all new to me so thanks for being such a help.;)

You need to have the card first. It is not active until you receive it in the mail and call the number on the card. I actually paid my dues w/the reward card today and it was a piece of cake. I am so glad this option is available as it makes me feel like DVC is even more affordable.

Okay - ordered the card thru the websight yesterday. So do you mean you called the # on the reward card? Who do I call first? MS or the reward card #?

What is the Disney Rewards website where you can get your rewards card ? I can only find sites that allow you to apply for the card.

Thanks

Personally, I like to charge my dues on my Visa so that I have more "rewards" to spend on my vacation. I guess it's all the same in the long run.

Can you make a partial payment of the dues on with the Reward points and then pay the rest with the Visa?

You call the toll-free number on the rewards card first to activate the card. Then you call MS to pay your fees w/the rewards card. And to answer another question...yes, you can pay part of the fees using rewards and put the balance on your VISA.

If you are a cardholder, you can access the Rewards information through the Disney Visa website. Once you log in there is a drop down menu. I believe it's under "Manage Rewards".
