Paying 2021 dues at closing

Hi All,

Just reviewing our first contract to be signed, it states Disney has a requirement to pay 2021 dues at closing (estimated to be June this year). Is this correct? We are reimbursing the seller for 2020 points, but assumed we would pay the 2021 dues to Disney direct in Jan?

Sounds wrong. AFAIK, Disney only requires current calendar year dues to be paid unless closing is near the end of the year. Even then, dues for 2021 would be estimated, and owner of record on January 1 would have to pay the actual dues to Disney for the calendar year.

I'd call and challenge. Wouldn't be the first time contract documents contained mistakes.
