I just paid our fees online for our flight to Orlando tomorrow. There was no option to pay for round trip fees. So I guess that I need to pay the return fees when we check in for our flight?:confused3 Is there a place that we can check in & pay baggage fees at the resort (POFQ) or in the parks? We are flying United and using DME and I was so looking forward to not having to hassle with bags to check in at the airport. Can anyone help me out? TIA:goodvibes

You will get instructions to do so in your room. There is a number to call and do it. Info might even be in a sticky above.

Found this from another site:

Resort Airline Check-in Service

All Disney resort hotel* guests, regardless of whether they are using the Magical Express buses, can get a boarding pass for their return trip home and check in their luggage at their hotel, subject to various restrictions (see below). This luggage check-in and boarding pass service is usually located in the lobby or just outside the front door of the hotel. It is only available for selected airlines (see below).

The Resort Airline Check-in service is operated by a third party company, Baggage Airline Guest Services (BAGS), not by Disney. Essentially the Resort Airline Check-in is like using curbside check-in at the airport, except that you get to do it at the hotel. Plan to tip the baggage handlers who take your bags, just as you would for curbside check-in.

Participating airlines for the resort check-in/boarding pass service are AirTran, Alaska, American, Continental, Delta, JetBlue, Northwest, United/Ted and USAirways.

The Resort Airline Check-In desk daily operating hours are 5:00 am to 1:00 pm, so you really can't use the resort luggage and check-in service for your return to the airport if your flight departs before about 8:00 am.

You must pay any excess baggage surcharges that apply to your luggage IN ADVANCE. If you're flying in Coach on most of the major airlines, ALL of your checked luggage requires a surcharge. For a few airlines, there is a surcharge only if you have more than one checked bag per person. To make your advance payment, call BAGS at (407) 284-1231 between 7:00 am and 11:00 pm and pay by MasterCard, Visa or American Express.

The Resort Airline Check-in staff cannot accept any baggage surcharge payments. If you don't pay the surcharges in advance, you'll have to check any "excess" bags in at the airport, paying the fees at that time. That means you must take any unpaid bags with you on the Magical Express bus or in your rental car and check them in at the airport counter yourself.

Only normal-sized bags (generally no more than 62 inches in overall dimensions [length + width + height] and no more than 50 lbs) will be accepted by the Resort Airline Check-in Service. They will NOT accept overweight or oversized luggage -- you'll have to take that to the airport and check it in yourself.
*Resort Airline Check-in Service is available only to guests staying at the official hotels owned and operated by Disney. The Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin hotels, the seven Downtown Disney hotels and Shades of Green are NOT included.

Look in my profile for info on a post. but..

I flew delta and it cost less to prepay online 15.00 per bag but we could not get that rate if we did online checkin at the resort as they charge what the airport will charge.20.00 a bag

I just flew home from WDW today. I checked our bags in at BCV and paid the baggage fees there. The phone number doesn't seem to work anymore to pay the fees the night before.

The process was fairly painless. Our only issue was that my sister took her suitcase down after we did to check in and she didn't get boarding passes for her or her daughter. We didn't realize this until we were on our way to the airport and I asked which gate she was at for her flight home to MSP. She said she didn't know. We then discovered she hadn't gotten anything but the receipt for the suitcase from the guy checking her in. She said it didn't seem like he knew what he was doing. I had checked in about 15 minutes earlier and had a woman check the luggage and give me our 4 boarding passes. No problem at all.

The phone number still works I used it on Monday to pay my bag fees.

I just read on the resorts board that you don't have to call BAGS the day prior to leaving Disney to pay for your suitcases, you can now just pay the
bag fees at your resort curbside bag desk. Does anyone know if this is correct? It would sure be a lot easier. TIA

Yes, that's what I posted earlier in this thread. I paid at the BCV BAG desk yesterday when we checked our bags in. The phone number was not working Tues or Weds. It sent you to voice mail.

If that is the case it would be more convenient and a recent change.
