pay to park?

Our family is staying at the HIFS in June. I don't know whether to use their shuttle system or drive ourselves. If we drive ourselves, will Disney make us pay to park? Can you get free parking vouchers at the hotel? Any suggestions?
Also, does anyone know if the HIFS has a water slide? Thank you in advance.

It will cost you $6 per day to park your car at WDW. There are no "free parking" vouchers from HIFS, sorry.

The only people who get free parking are AP holders. The shuttle may be better if you want to save on parking.

I should have mentioned this before but...

The one thing you should take into consideration in your decision is whether paying the $6 to park your own car and have the freedom to leave and return when you want to outweighs having to tailor your park touring schedule to catch shuttle buses that only run once in a while. You may spend an hour (or more) waiting for the bus if you try to leave at the wrong time. Only you can decide whether saving $6 is worth that tradeoff for you and your family.

If you can I'd pay the $6 daily and have the freedom to come and go when I chose. The fee is per day so if you leave and return , or drive park to park you don't have to pay again. I don't know about the HIFS shuttle but some of them run only 4 -6 times a day. Standing in the parking lot waiting for that shuttle can be very annoying.

What are the parking fees for the Universal parks and Sea World?

I'm not sure about SeaWorld, but I think Universal is $7.

Sea world was $7 in October 2001.

I just looked at my parking pass for that day.....I save everything...

$7 Sea World, $8 Universal. Was there last week. Incredible how the extra $1-$2 upset me....

And once you pay to park--your parking ticket is good all day---so if you hop to another park you do NOT have to pay again.

Is parking still free at the parks if you are staying at a WDW Resort? We rent a car and sometimes drive to the parks, it was always free in the past.
