PAY-PAL question? Please help!!!

I also posted this on the community board... sorry if this has been discussed but i couldn't find the answer....

I've used paypal successfully for several years but for my recent ebay purchase, the website keeps asking for another credit card. It says the one i put in is
'already on file' -- so i put in another one, even though i didn't want to, and it says that one is on file too, that i need to add another one!??!! What??

ALL of my cards are valid and in good-working order (and then some, yikes!) so there's no reason why they shouldn't be accepted.

I can't find an answer on their site so i emailed them but haven't heard back.

Meanwhile, the seller would like to be payed -- and i'd like my item!

Can anyone please help?? I'd greatly appreciate it very much. TIA.

Pay pal is not working corrrectly for me either...says soemthing like I need an enhanced number for my credit card which takes four-five days and will charge me 1.95....never had this problem before, it's my debit card and have used it for years....anybody have an answer?

Paypal can take forever to respond to you via email You should call them and get immediate help. Here's a copy from their site:

Hi,

I had that same message a couple of months ago when my credit card expired. What I had to do was go into Profile, then Credit card then edit my profile.

That was it! But i had tried access my profile yesterday and couldn't get into it - today it opened and that was the issue.
