Will the ticket portion of my package go up in price if I do not pay off the package before the ticket prices increase? The rumor is Aug 1st on tix increase, and I am not planning to pay off the package until Aug. 14. Should I plan to pay earlier or will my ticket price be locked in regardless of when I choose to pay off my package?

Your price won't go up for your already booked package. Just like if you buy your tickets now alone, you can use them later on, and you paid the cheaper price.

I've only read of 1 person who has ever been contacted by Disney stating that their package price increased on an unpaid package when the tickets went up. One. Of all the people posting on the DIS. One. I like those odds. I've certainly never experienced this myself. IMO you don't need to worry.

If you do call to make any kind of changes to your package though, then you will likely be charged the increased ticket price.

Thank you!

I like those odds too!:goodvibes

OP just wanted to say "Thank You" for asking this question! I hadn't even considered the impact a ticket increase would have on our trip in October. We've been holding out for a public discount or a pin. I'll be calling tonight and asking about a pin and booking something by Sunday. Thanks again :goodvibes

This is another example of why :disrocks:

I have to make a couple changes on our package. Should I do that now then to avoid the increase?

I would make any changes now just to be on the safe side. Plus that is just one more thing out of the way and taken care of.

:scratchin Hey! FINALLY I can tell DH that my ability to over think a situation has benefited someone! Thanks for letting me know, SplashMtnCrew! :thumbsup2

I called this morning and was told even with a hold on - the price would not increase. :goodvibes

Even if there is a price increase on tickets it would not affect Package Prices for 2010 no matter when you book them. Ticket Price increases would only affect your reservation if you have a room only and add KTTW Tickets. Package prices are set for the entire year only once. If you have a room offer using one code then change it to a new discount code then the ticket prices would be affected by the higher ticket cost. Hope this makes sense.:)
