Pay for Gifts/Amenities with a Gift Card?

Our cruise was a honeymoon gift from my future in-laws, and my MIL wanted to pay for a few extras like Palo, or some of the things on the gifts/amenities order-ahead form. I've been picking up discounted gift cards for our trip (we'll also spend time at WDW), so I was wondering... Does anyone know if you can pay with a gift card for the items on the gifts/amenities order form? Or maybe with DVA?

I bought OBC from that using a gift card. Just be sure to hang onto the card because if there is any need for a refund it will go back onto the card. If you have more than one, it's best to combine them (I think disneygiftcard.com is the site that will allow you to do that.) - both for the in a refund is needed convenience AND so you don't drive the cast member on the phone crazy with a zillion cards. (I heard an audible shift to relief in voice when I was buying my OBC and responded "Just one" when she asked how many gift cards I was using for that $600.)

Haha I imagine they get a lot of gift cards... I've got most of ours combined so far. Thanks for the info! I'd think if you could OBC, you could pay for the gifts... I'll give them a call when we get closer, but I'm trying to plan ahead - basically do I collect a few more cards for this trip, or do I move on to the next trip

I've used a gift card to pay for rainforest room passes and the beer mug by calling gifts and amenities directly.

I recently used DVA to buy OBC for our upcoming trip. You should be able to use it for gifts/amenities but call Disney Cruise/(800) 951-3532 first and ask.
