Pay for GCH with gift cards (if not with me)

I ordered Disney gift cards from Target and they may not arrive before I leave this Friday. If they do arrive before I check out from the GCH, can I use the code and pin without having the actual card in my hand ( have my dh give/text it to me)?

I think they have to swipe the cards there...you should call them to ask at the hotel.
