Pawn Stars: anyone else hooked?

But I can't help but watch Pawn Stars thinking "You should eBay that!!!!"

but watching chumley just trying to get by each day, is sometimes over the top!

its not hard to see a lot of that stuff is scripted, especially when they have the experts come in for their opinion(s)

trouble is, I have seen some of that stuff I would like to have (the old coke machine, etc.)

I told DH that next time we are in Vegas, we are going to pawn our Fenton vase. It is of no use to us, and it won't matter if we get only $5 for it. The experience of going there (if they even take it) would be enough.

DH & I are hooked on this show. We love the Old Man. Chumlee and Big Hoss having the race in the parking lot cracked us up.

We love it, too. Chumlee is so funny. Such a doof. We love the one where they were testing an old gun in the desert - the expert said there was a good chance it could blow up upon firing - no problem, LET'S GET CHUMLEE TO DO IT!!! And Rick (is that his name?) says, "It wouldn't go over too well to tell the old lady we lost our son in a gun testing stint, so it has to be Chumlee". It's like the old addage "Let's get Mickey, he'll try anything!" There is always interesting stuff brought in and I like how they show that they get burned a few times, they are not always making a killing.

I love them both too- so glad I'm not alone. We just got Direct T.V. and the only channel I know is 269 and it's because of these 2 shows. DH thinks it's hillarious- can't wait to tell him that I'm not the only one!!

I love Pawn Stars too! I always think that they are never people I would be aqainted with in real life, but I do love their "characters". I also agree that the show is scripted. There are so many things (especially those that involove Chumlee) that are obviously for entertainment value.

DH and I both watch Pawn Stars and American Pickers. Love them! Even DD11 loves Pawn Stars. She will watch older episodes online. Anyone else notice that the Pawn Star guys have more "buddies in the _____________ business" than anyone else on TV.

I love it too, Pawn Stars and the Young and the Restless are the only two shows we DVR because we don't want to miss it. I love the old man, Rick and Chumlee too. I don't care for the son he's a jerk!
