Uh, nooo, Paula, a cookie and a jelly donut are not components for a healthy dinner, but hey, I've been there, too, and sometimes it's just what you WANT!

Well - I took a good stroll around the mall today - more for my mental health than physical - good nontheless. And resisted the urge to get something at DD on the way home fromt he mall.

Ok - fessing up to the bad part.......Candy bar coupon sale" at JC Penney - ate that (got 30% off coupon inside though) - then...went to godiva - bought small box of halloween candy to mail to DD - bought 1 - just 1 maple walnut truffle for me.....very decadent.

Bad part is that's all I've eaten today.......

Having a large glass if ice water right now - stomach growling - help...........

I am gonna have to stake out your house and take all that junk food away! hehe Good job on no afternoon coffee and your portion control, especially in Godiva!!! :) Mmm dynamites!! Haven't had those in at least 10 years, what a sense memory, so yummy. hehe :)

Hi Erin....

I had a banana today (big for me - I hate fruit) and afternoon cup of herbal tea.....trying to fight off the 9pm munchies now.

Hi Erin - no banana yet today but I did have a bowl of rice krispies with fresh rasberries - still had a few left on the vines - picked them last night - quite yummy.

As far as the 9pm munchies - I am working - sitting at my desk......so technically my hands are occupied typing - ......
Last night - at 9pm....munchie time......took 1 teaspoon full of ice cream and ate it - I was happy - and proud of myself too!! Small steps!!
 
That is a good step Paula - 1 spoonful is better than one bowl full (or more)!!!! Good job!

2pm.....hungry.......I know there is a Hershey bar in the fridge......been tehre since Sunday - I''m not giving in - had glass of orange juice - 1/2 pb sandich and banana.

Trying really hard to make good choices.....
 
You are doing good combating that bar that's been in there a few days - leave it there!!!!!

Just curious, Paula--why do you have the Hershey bar in the fridge? Is it there to test your willpower? As a special "reward" for not eating other junk??
To curb a chocolate craving? I need to know why it's even there! Either eat it and celebrate it's deliciousness or throw it out and be rid of the torture!

You didn't ask for it, but I've been know to give my opinions free of charge. :teeth:

Hang in there, Paula. You're making some GREAT choices. You're succeeding at this! I can't believe you had that teeny tiny bit of ice cream and then ended it--I couldn't have done that in a million years. I'm too much all or nothing. I guess that's why I see a candy bar in the fridge as almost unbearable! :p

Erin - hahahahha - your question really made me laugh - actually my husband bought it last weekend - boy scouts were selling them - I am shocked by my willpower too - maybe I am trying to prove something to myself....

Anyway - no sweets at all this week - may treat myself tomorrow or Sunday.

Well - last night DH went into the fridge and said "I don't know how come this has been here all week and not opened - I'm eating it" - aka the Hershey - he gave me 1/2 - less guilt.

I bought low fat yogurt for 9pm snacks this week - we'll see how that goes.....
 
Novenber 1st - new day - new month - new attituude.

got on the scale this morning - not ready to "fess up" - lets just say I'm at square 1.....have 15 puonds to lose.....sounds easy.....

So far today:
Orance juice - vitamins - coffee with light cream.

Lunch - chicken caesar salad.
Dinner - possible Pizza.

Afternoon snack - herbal tea
9pm munchie snack - lo-fat yogurt.

Will dring water today.
Will do WAP today!!!!!!
 
Quick post - did fairly well today.

Lunch: chicken honey/dijon salad/few sesame crackers/green apple
afternoon snack: rose herbal tea/granola bar
Dinner (not so good) - pasta and sauce - corn - very very small piece of steak and 4 mozzarella sticks
9pm Munchies snack - fat free vanilla yoplait cup

only drank water today.

WAP - 1 mile
