I really don't care one way or the other about this situation. However, Linda never struck me as a door mat. If Paul had hit her,IMO,she would have beat the hell out of him.

I heard Paul interviewed after he married Heather. He sounds like a guy that very much liked the institution of marriage. I think he was heartbroken after Linda died and probably married Heather too quickly. I never liked her from the beginning, I guess because his kids were reported to dislike her. Thats a tell-tale sign as far as I'm concerned.

I don't believe he abused her....and I do think she is a gold digger and a witch and a skank and any other name you can think of. Sir Paul deserves much better!

All I can picture now is Pauls daughter Stella BEGGING him not to mary Heather mills. It was common knowledge that Stella didnt like her from the beginning. But Paul was probably lonely, and missing Linda. Pauls kids will have to share his inheritance with this gold digger. He should have gotten a pre nup!

I love the Beatles....I feel so sorry for Paul. I didn't understand when he married Heather, I figured he was so lonely he just married the first thing that came along. She reeled him in; hook, line and sinker.

You know, the more I think about it, the more I think Paul McCartney is truly a good person that made a grievous error. When you are a nice unassuming person you don't think of the possible wrongs others might do to you.....you assume they are a good person like yourself.

Yeah, he should of known better and he should have had a pre-nup but I think these are just examples of how he is a good person and couldn't fathom such evil in someone else....

I only hope the judges who preside over this divorce see who the better parent might be, despite his age, and grant custody to him. She would get some support but she wouldn't have the child support to play around with. He seems quite capeable of raising a young child and I am sure once Heather is out of the house his adult children would be more than willing to help him out when he needs. Peggie

Apparently she is going to sue two of the newspapers (I don't know why she's only going after two of them - the entire British press has been reporting on this whole thing) that printed the story.

Most people here are under the impression that it was a purposeful leak, and if that's true then it will not look good on Heather. I'm hoping the courts will look at the whole situation for what it is and award her next to nothing.
