Paul McCartney and wife separate

i remember when they first got engaged they happened to stay at a ritzy hotel somewhat near here (ft. lauderdale) and the rumor was they got into a huge fight in which she then threw her expensive ring right out the window. so then later on during that night they had hotel employees looking over the grounds for this ring.

so i thought how different this relationship already seem to be compared to his 30 year never spent a day apart marriage. so i'm not SHOCKED that this happened...the only thing that totally suprises me was paul not having her sigh a pre-nup in the beginning. i bet he's kicking himself over that now.

Well, I firmly believe variety is the spice of life but that wasn't me. I've never seen 5 minutes of 24. Paul I'm obssesive about. You can have Jack, I'll take Paul.

OMG - you're right. I stand corrected. It must be all the excitement over Paul being available - I can't even think straight. ;) Sorry about that. :guilty: Since I'm a huge Paul fan, I'll be the one in line right behind you!

The headlines are getting just a little TOO cute though -

"She's Leaving Home"
"They Can't Work it Out"
"She won't still need him"
"Hello ---- Good Bye"

:rolleyes2

Has he reached 64 yet?

I'm hoping Paul and Heather can work out their marriage (marriage counseling) before thinking about filing for divorce, or did they file for divorce already? The internet articles are already talking about how much $$$ Heather can get out of the divorce, but they haven't filed yet, did they? Maybe they just need time away from each other (separation) and then they can patch up the marriage?? I'm kinda hoping for that, even tho I'm a Paul fan myself! ;)

I did watch The View this morning and Barbara Walters said she interviewed Heather Mills when she just got engaged to Paul. They showed some of hte interview on the show this morning. Heather stated even then, that she couldn't handle the media about Paul being a Beatle, him being famous, etc. I'm thinking, why did she go ahead and marry him in hte first place if it's something she can't handle? Barbara Walters also stated that Heather is a bossy person(she had said it nicely on the show) and Heather wanted to be in the spotlight, too, to show the world and market about her humanity stuff with the landmines, animal activist, etc.
Heather also brought some baggage from her childhood with her( being abused from her dad as a child), being homeless for a few weeks when she was a teenager. To me, Heather could use counseling for herself, if she hasn't had it already.

I do feel bad for Heather, whatever happened to her as a child, but she just is not right for Paul. She doesn't seem to want to be involved with what Paul likes to do as his number 1 thing, his music. Linda, of course was much different. She got involved with Paul's music(was part of hte band). She had more of a maternal personality with the kids her and Paul have.
Well, just my thoughts.

He will turn 64 on June 18 of this year.

It will surely take longer than that for a divorce to be finalized, so at least the question in the famous song would technically be answered in the affirmative, although it may not be true even technically when he reaches 65.

Well, anyway, I hope this will at least result in the end of the estrangement between Paul and his grown kids (or does he just have the grown daughter?).

Paul and Linda had four children; Heather (from Linda's first marriage), Mary, Stella (a pretty well-known fashion designer in England) and James (who looks eerily like his dad, but with red hair!).

Stella McCartney is the one who was reported to have complained about Heather Mills. But then Stella is the only one who has a career in the public eye, so she'd be the only "quotable" one.

He has 3 grown daughters and 1 grown son with Linda. The son's name is James, he was born in 1977 or 1978.
Then there's Mary( I think she's the oldest), then Stella ( she is the spokesperson for the siblings, she's also a famous fashion designer in the UK). There is also Heather Eastman McCartney( he adopted her from Linda's first marriage).

Ono! ... Yoko to blame for McCartney split

John Breneman Archives
JB's NEW web site www.humorgazette.com
Yoko Ono, widow of John Lennon and perhaps the world’s most reviled scapegoat, is responsible for the breakup of Paul McCartney’s marriage to Heather Mills, the Humor Gazette has learned.

Sources say Mills "really dug" McCartney, but eventually fell under the spell of Ono’s shrill and relentless portrayal of Paul as a creative midget next to the God-like genius of John. Musical analysts say Ono’s new single "(I Ain’t Sayin’ She a) Peg-Legged Gold Digger" — a three-minute shriek accompanied by a chorus of baby harp seals in various stages of distress — could be a subtle dig at Mrs. McCartney.

The latest polls reveal that Ono is also receiving a hefty share of the blame for the trouble in Iraq, the immigration problem and rising gas prices. The growing anti-Ono ire is good news for the Bush administration, which announced it has evidence linking the notorious band-wrecker to the attacks of Sept. 11, 2001.

Ono’s approval is nearing its all-time low of 3 percent in when the Beatles broke up in 1970, thanks to her. She recently provoked ire in the Muslim world by saying she is "bigger than Allah."

The eccentric widow could not be reached for comment because she is channeling all her karmic energy into her latest project — a one-woman plastic Ono neo-coed naked Zen minimalist Haiku mosh pit.
