Hi everyone,

I'm thinking of using Patricia LeJeune for my hair & make up, because I read that she uses airbrush make up and I think this would be best for me.

The only thing is that I want to wear my hair down on my wedding day, and I've only seen pictures of hair that she's put up. Does anyone have any photos of hairstyles she has done that are maybe half up & half down, or all down? My hair is very thick & unruly so I want to make sure that I choose the right person to tame it :rotfl:

TIA

:flower3:

I used Patricia for my wedding 2 weeks ago and she did a fabulous job. I wore my hair up, but all of my bridesmaids wore their hair half-up/half-down. I'm still in the process of getting all of my pictures together, but here is a photo of one of my bridesmaids (she is in the blue dress). She has thick curly hair, and I must say that her hair-do stayed in place all night!!!

I used Patricia and we loved her. I had all of my hair up, my MOH had her hair half down.

Your MOH is exactly how I want my hair!! Thank you so much for posting the picture! :goodvibes

Thankyou for the replies :flower3:

How did your make up hold up through the day? My skin can be difficult and my make up tends to need re-applying half way through the day!

Thanks again!

The make-up held up nicely. The only thing that I really did was touch up my lipstick and powder my face. Patrcia advised me to buy the MAC blot powder as I tend to get shiny!

I highly recommend the airbrush make up as it held up the whole day.

I have an oily tzone and was worried that I would look greasy as the day went on. Patricia gave me the MAC oil blotter powder and I didn't even need it. Surprisingly I did not look shiny at all. Whatever Patricia did, it worked out great.

I used Patricia as well. My makeup stayed great all day and all through our dessert party, even after we went to the parks in the afternoon!

I can't say enough good things about her; she was wonderful!

I think Patricia will be the right choice for me then, because I'm worried about looking "shiny" so it's good to see she has recommendations! :thumbsup2

I'm so worried about my make-up coming off during the day! Everyone's going to think I'm so vain because I'll be checking my reflecton every chance I get, but only because I'm paranoid :rotfl:

I have oily skin as well, and my makeup looked great at the end of the day!

Do you have a friend you can put on "shiny patrol?" That way they can alert you to potentially shiny situations and have the powder at the ready!

Hmmm now I've read that airbrush make up isn't good for oily skin! :confused3 Guess I'll just risk it! hehe.

Heidi - I think I'll put my sister on that, she's brutally honest so she definitely won't worry about telling me if I'm shiny! :lmao:

I have oily skin and had no trouble with Patricia's airbrush makeup, in terms of clogged pores or reactions or breakouts. And, like everyone else, I found it stayed matte a lot longer than traditional makeup. :thumbsup2

I'm sure the airbrush make up will be fine for you. As I said - I have a very oily t-zone, but I did not look shiny at all for the whole day.

You can always do a trial with her and try out the airbrush makeup and see how it works with your skin during the day. If you love it, then you will have peace of mind during your wedding day :thumbsup2

Does airbrush make up feel really heavy? I have fairly normal skin and dont want to feel like its caked on?!:lmao:

No, and that's precisely why I chose it. Regular foundation always feels heavy and cakey to me, but with airbrush I couldn't even tell I had it on. DH even got airbrushed a little the last time we did a photo shoot! :rotfl:

I never wear foundation and I couldn't feel it at all

I had Patricia and her crew for my wedding...we had a large # of girls...I had 6 bridesmaids, a flower girl, a jr. bridesmaid, and 2 moms along with myself...we had a total of three artists in our 2 bedroom villa at WL working on us...and I had many many opinions and doubful people. After my hair and makeup trial in Oct of '08 I was completely convinced Patricia was the artist for me and I told my girls not to worry (good luck trying to convince them, though). After that morning, and after the trip, all I've heard from my girls is how much they loved the airbush makeup, enjoyed the experience and how they were pleased with the work that was done...I might add a tip: GET THE LASHES! I absolutely LOVE them. BTW, I have naturally curly hair. I blew it out straight the night before and then let them work their magic...they just ask that your hair is dry and probably somewhat straight..my cousin has really tight curls and she had her hair blown out a few days before to prepare...Patricia can work with anything! I had what I like to call the "rainbow coalition" in my bridal party (jamaican, cambodian, puerto rican, white)

Puffpatty, you look beautiful.

Also, I agree, get the lashes. They aren't porno star huge lashes. They just make your lashes fuller and really make your eye pop. Plus if you carefully wash your makeup off, you can make those babies last for 3 days.....:rotfl:
