Patina Group and Landry's Select at DLR

We'll be at DLR during my birthday month but not on my actual birthday. Can we take advantage of the birthday freebies at Tortilla Joe's and Rainforest Cafe?

Also, when signing up should I use my hometown or Anaheim as my location?

With Landry's you get a cushion to use your reward. I believe it was until the 15th of the following month, but that might vary by your birthdate.

I don't know about Disneyland, but I've used my birthday freebee from Landry's at Disneyworld Rainforest Café with no problems.

My birthday reward from Tortilla Joe's is valid up to 60 days after my birthday. I believe Landry's just puts the $25 credit on your card about two weeks before your birthday and you can use it thereafter. I am pretty sure my DH went many months after his actual birthday and the $25 credit was still there.

As others have said, the Landry's Select $25 Birthday Reward is good from the 1st of your birthday month through the 15th of the following month (inclusive). So, if your birthday was on July 17, your $25 Reward should be available from July 1 through August 15. From the Landry's Select FAQ:

Your $25 Birthday Reward will be automatically added onto your Landry's Select Club account on the first day of your birthday month. Birthday Rewards expire on the 15th of the month following your birthday month.

For the Patina Group, it matters a little where you live. The terms and conditions differ between the East and West Coast (I don't know where the break point is located). According to the terms and conditions for the West Coast, the certificate is good from the date of issue until 60-days after your birthday. It's worth noting that you only get the Patina Birthday Gift once. My certificate came (via email) a few days before my birthday.
