I just did this for my birthday and it was great! I posted pictures in the Disney Dining Thread on this board.

For those of you having difficulty getting the email, definitely try another e-mail address. I signed up with my cox email address and it didn't come. I signed up via gmail and it came right away!

It depends on where, because some non disney places need to be booked direct. If you call Disney Dining in the message you hear before getting to a reservationist it tells what they can't book.

I called Disney Dining this morning and was able to book Tortilla Jo's. The fine print on the coupon says you have to eat after 5:00 pm, you have to make a reservation, and you have to note in the reservation that you have the birthday coupon.

My birthday is Nov 1 and I got my coupon via email yesterday. DD23 & I will dine on Nov 19 or 20 (staying at Hojo's). Now I just have to decide if we want Tortilla Jo's, Naples (unlikely) or Catal!

I really think it is a wonderful deal they offered all of us.

Once again cruising this board pays off - just signed up for my husband (next month) and I - we go to the LA Phil up at Disney Hall and there are a number of really good Patina restaurants up there we enjoy.
Of the DD ones, Catal is our favorite. Nice view of the fireworks from the upstairs patio too!
