pat o'briens with kids?

We are going in June and my DS, 11, loves New Orleans. Is Pat O'briens ok for dinner, or is it too rowdy? Also, do you need PS's there and how do you go about getting them? Thanks

If you are going to eat dinner there, with kids..do it early..as it is an adult only venu in the evening. 21 and older, no excepetions.

We ate at Pat O'Briens last August with our kids. We were there from about 6:00-8:00 and sat in the piano bar. There were several other families and the place wasn't crowded at all. The piano man played some songs kids were familiar with and some movie tunes. The kids had a blast.
