Pastamore?Motown Cafe

Has anyone eaten at pastamore or Motown Cafe? We will be dining there in May and were wondering how the food was. Thanks.

My DW & DD got sandwiches from pastamore and said they where good but sorry we never tried a meal at either

I have eaten at Motown. We had a very good meal there. The appetizer sampler was very good. I had a pasta dish (can't remember the name) which was tasty. DH had a steak topped with portobello mushrooms which was fantastic! The portions were quite large also. We are looking forward to going back there with our 1/2 price GC next month.

I ate there about a year or two ago and it was pretty good.

We have eaten inside and outside. We had dinner inside with pasta shrimp etc. and Pizza outside while watching the crowds. The pizza we loved but the other dishes we were not impressed with. Not to say it was not good just nothing spectacular.We have done the pizza thing outside several times and enjoyed it every time.

We ate at both Pastamore and Motown over the Easter break and were not too impressed with either. Motown doesn't have a very large menu, and my steak came out like shoe leather. Also, we made a reservation, and were staying onsite at the HRH. When we got there, the girl didn't even want to know the name that the ressie was under, or see our room key...... So, what is the point of taking reservations then? I wonder. We had to wait about 45 minutes for a table. Pastamore was just okay... We had quite a few great meals at other restaurants, so whenever we get back to Universal, we probably wouldn't be tempted to go back to Pastamore or Motown..... JMO of course.

We had a fab meal at Motown Cafe last October - the blooming onion starter comes highly recommended, but only if there's lots of you sharing cos it's massive! I don't remember what main courses we had, but we both really enjoyed it. The service was excellent and you should definately try some of the cocktails!
